This was a simple design project I made for one of my classes, out of primarily laser cut parts. The requirements of the project were extremely broad, essentially just to make anything that vaguely represented a box, and which had a variety of different joints and fasteners. I used the project as an opportunity to make a gift for my mom, and made a Tree of Life Themed Jewelry box. The tree is backed by green acrylic, with a message rastered on it, while the main box is made out of plywood. The knobs are made of aluminum and were turned on a lathe.
